Hi all,
I am doing a lot of gig photography and am generally pleased with the 'keepers'.
However I am puzzled by how many are really badly underexposed. Obviously the lighting can be extreme with sudden changes but I nearly always use a single point focus point. I also use spot metering and try and focus on the face.
Am I right in thinking that spot metering works only on the selected AF point? If so I don't understand why the camera is picking up so much light that it badly underexposes.
Any thoughts?
