5D mark 3 dual card slots

Hi, I have a quick question about the dual slots on the 5D mark 3 that I wanted to be sure of.

If I’m shooting at an event with a number of 16gb CF cards but have a 128gb sd card, will it continue to write to the sd card even when I swop out the CF cards?

Yes. It will write to the SD card until it runs out of capacity.
