5D Mk 2 Wedding Video

I photograph weddings using 5D Mk 1 and 30D . I am thinking of buying a 5D Mk2 and wonder if I should break with a long held view that video was not for the true wedding photographer. I am thinking about offering a 10 to 15 minuite video Just ceremony speeches etc. I asume I would need an external microphone any ideas on equiptment etc. Is the idea feasable ??

More than feasible, check out "still motion" on vimeo, they do exactly that. I would suggest some radio mics and some sort of rig as the bare minimum.

Thanks for your advice If anyone can advise actual sound equptment to set up it would be great. After a couple of hours study the Rode range of mics seem better than most.

A lot of people do use the 5d MK2 for video and some of the results online are fantastic. Just get used to the manual focusing!
