Hello everyone

I am a bit concerned, I received mine more than a week ago and did quite a bit of playing...tonight was the first night I downloaded and I am seeing some pink / magenta banding in bright light blue skies...

Anyone know about this experienced it?

Will try...haven't done uploading here in ages...please be patient...

No, ladies and gents, apologies if I started a rumour here, I think it is a combination of a fun but loooooong day, ham-fisted editing and poor exposure at silly ISO settings...

I hunted for examples to post, then upgraded my Canon DPP as that is the only RAW converter I have that can handle the 5D III RAWs. I did some SERIOUS pixel peeping in DPP and must report that the images are fine.

Have a great evening all!

Chris, I am at the edge of being divorced already...I am holding out for CS 6 or 5 Extended + Capture 1...LR 4 will have to sit on the back burner...I also bought an old Land Rover to get to worthwhile landscapes, waiting for the arrival of a Zeiss 21mm, just had a new site built, launching anyday...

Gotto watch the wallet now m8:lol:

Lightroom 4 is really cheap now. Just found it has soft proofing today.. Brilliant at last. I can create virtual copies for print profiles.

I understand Capture One Pro 6.4 will be released on Monday with support for 5d mk3 and D800

Woohoo:thumbs::thumbs: Was a bit worried about that since the 5D III is such a new release...

So until then it is still DPP and CS2...

I have copies of CS5, Elements 9 and Lightroom 4 and the only program I use is Canon DPP. I find it so much easier and it does all the alterations I need. Now that it's been upgraded it seems to work fine with the RAW's from a 5D3.
