5d mk3 + 70-200 + extender

I have all three of the above components but I've never put them together. If you have a specific query I'll happily lock them to eachother and tell you what you need to know.:thumbs:
 
I've put the 5DIII, 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM II and the MKIII 2x extender together to give a 140-400mm f/5.6 and the image quality has been as good as I've seen from the EF100-400mm :)
 
Considering how wonderful a lens the 70-200 ISII is, I wouldn't be surprised to discover that it's every bit as good (if not better) with the 2x as the 100-400 is. I'm not a great fan of the 100-400, especially at the long end, but my wife likes it's versitility!
