5D produces black images at 1/1600s

Recently I've noticed a strange issue with my 5D, sometimes in sunny conditions with underexposes images, not by just a little bit, the image is all black, I thought it was just a quirk, but it seems to be happening a lot.

I've seen it happening with 2 different lenses, after looking at the exif of the shots it seems like it is every shot at 1/1600s that exhibits this issue, 1/2000s and 1/1250s are both fine.

Has anyone seen this before? Or is it a repair/service job?

That's what I was thinking/dreading, although when the shutter went on my 1D, it just went, will ring the shop tomorrow as have a few months left on warranty.

5D Classic correct? How many shots taken?

Yes, 5Dmk1, no idea how many actuations, I thought only Canon could tell?

If 1/2000s is fine then I have no clue. If shutter was going anything faster would have issues, and slightly slower would have a strip of exposed section, or something like that. It is best to send it to Canon.
