hi,

Having recently got the 5D2 & was just about to go out - but the battery is flat - I am thinking of getting a 2nd battery. So...

Who has used compatible batteries in the 5D2 ? how did you find them compared to the original.

Alternatively - who wouldnt use compatibles, and why?

Lastly - does anyone know of any bargains for the originals

Hi,
Bought a 5D2 from kerso and decided to buy an extra battery. I would pm Kerso, he does about the best price for originals but does not do 'copies'!

I run a copy and a original in a grip - no problems and i can charge them both at the same time as the non-oem one came with a mains / car charger £9.99 inc P&P from UK fleabay.
 
cheers all - think I'll be going the Kerso route. I was saving to give him c£700 for a 24-105L - but a battery tops the list at the moment.
