5D3 Battery Drain problem

I've been having problems with my 5D3 draining the battery when not used. It appears to only occur with two lenses (Canon 17-40 L and Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art). It can be annoying.... yesterday the battery was fully charged, this morning I tried to use the camera and it's totally dead. The problem seems to occur even when the camera is switched off.

With other lenses, it never has a problem.

I'm not sure if it's the body or the lenses which are the problem? I seems unlikely for two lenses to have an issue, but conversely, the body doesn't have a problem with the other 3 lenses I own.

Anybody got any ideas?

It's not an answer to your problem but it is worth noting that the power to the lens is not removed by switching the camera off so you could try switching the lens to MF to help narrow down the issue.

I had this once with my 50D and 24-105 lens, thought it an issue with my main battery until it did it with the spare as well. I'm assuming it was a fault with the lens as the autofocus failed on the next shoot and it didn't do it after being repaired.
