5Dii and magic lantern

Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere.. couldn't find a search bar...

Does anyone have experience using the magic lantern firmware? I don't intend to shoot lots of videos on my (soon to arrive) 5D2 but I do like to get the best out of whatever I own. I read about the features like zebra stripes and crop marks etc but I also read that people can make their own. Anyone found or written any interesting widgets?

Bear in mind that I dont think there is a version yet that works with the very latest 5DII firmware (2.1.2 I think).

Quick update.

I've got my 5D2, donated to magic lantern and got the unified beta. WOW.

I mean, I did not expect so many features. In the past I've made my own time lapse external circuits, laser triggers and all sorts. But now magic lantern does it all!

Motion detection
time lapse
automatically takes a picture when focus is achieved (MF)

just soooo many things to play with.
