Just to gauge how many other 5DII users have had faults with their USB output Jacks?
I use mine for tethering and whilst i don't kick the ass out of it and ultra careful, my USB jack has snapped from the main circuit board.(Purchased in Feb 2011)
Was on the phone to the seller and referred me to Colchester who referred me to Elstree who advised the following:
Canon will fix the issue ONCE if under 12 months old with receipt. After that, your on your on... Jack.. (pun intended)..around a 2 weeks turn around (ish) as not on the golden list.
All very helpful in communications etc..
With 2 very important studio shoots in the next couple of weeks am rather jiffed off!!
