Just to lay my mind to rest & help my tip over the edge what would people say is more suited to the studio environment as well as out & about portraits etc...
 
I'd say the 5DII as well. The 1DIII will make some cracking portraits with good lenses on, but for pure resolving power the 5DII is your bunny. You wont need the speed and weather proofing of the 1DIII in the studio I dont think.
 
Thanks all think i've made my mind up :).

Other thing is the mkII can be had new for same price as a 1DIII 2nd hand and the s just ads like 2-3k on the price lol
