5DMKII vs D700 50mm ISO Tests

Thought I'd post this up in case anyone found it useful. Yet another test for ISO performance against these 2 foes if you've already searched the net for comparisons. I've got a D700 and can't decide to switch to a 5DMKII or not, my brother shoots the 5DMKII and every time I've used it I've been impressed. Did a few 50mm prime lens shots on a locked off tripod at a few ISO levels. 200/3200/6400. Any ideas on improving test? (Shot on manual, same settings, exposure is straight out of camera)

Calendar shows April but it has a nice mix of colours and lines that month

well the nikon looks better controled but it hasnt helped that the canon has not exposed properly, just try a dull light room,

You set it on manual, but what did the exposure meter say on each? The Canon shots look under exposed and that won't help noise...

I often shoot 1/3+ to 2/3+ a stop on the 5Dii.

Probably not the best test target either.

i use nikon and would never move but what i am lead to belive is the canon is better to iso 800 and from then on the nikon is better.
