I have a Canon 60D that has a problem with it's auto focus.
If I am focused in the distance and then try to focus close up it won't do anything unless I get it somewhere near with manual focus first, and then it works.
It's the same the other way around, close up to distance. It will only focus when the lens is relatively in focus anyway.
It's definitely the camera because I've tried the same 3 lenses on a 500D body with no problems.
Does anybody know what the cause of this may be? Its only 7 months old and very minimal use so its going back under warranty for repair.
