I see no reason, why it shouldn't? Doesn't make sense... did he give a reason?
Google a bit, and you can find several shops selling this as compatible with 6D... and forums confirming this.

No reason, I asked him to confirm that it would work on ttl on a 6d as in the listing it only said 60d & 5d. This was the reply......

And if you do, could you please ask them, why on earth they list their flashes for specific cameraes... pretty confusing.
I understand, if there is a difference between Canon and Nikon versions, but a version listed for different Canons??
If you look under each listing, they show same groups of Canons nonetheless...!
They do not specifically list the 6D, but then on the other hand, neither do they list a 5DmkIII... and from google search others are using that combo with no issues.
But at least their flashes are okay! And the manuals usually brings a smile on your face!

Just seen this, so a bit late to confirm what you already know. But I have this flash and camera, no probs. I think the issue mentioned originally when the 6D came out was to do with shooting at wide angle on FF as there may not be enough spread. Electronically it works fine.
