Maybe im missing something but it seems that there are no 35mm generic stized frames out there, they are always an inch or so too small or too big and not at all the right aspect ratio.

Where can I get cheap frames for the normal 2:3 ratio?

Buy a 10x8 frame and use 9x6 mounts.

I kinda just want some super cheap ones or at least some that come ready made so I dont need to faff around too much.
I just find it odd that places done sell standard ratio frames.

I have a load of 9x6 frames, how many do you need?

I suspect that they won't be cheap, but have you tried hobbycraft? Last time I was there, they had lots of different ratio frames and mountboards.

Wilkinsons had a lot of frames and mounts, but I think they were all 5:7 6:4 6:8 not 6:9

I just purchase lengths of picture framing, then get my trusty power saw out. Gives the best, cleanest cut possible.

for all pictures i put into frames i get the mounts cut to order at eframe, i do it in bulk to make postage economical though.

The Range, Athena, WHSmith, SnappySnaps, Boots, Jessops...

Keep your eyes open for special offers, clearance sales etc and don't forget charity shops - you may have to buy a fairly nasty picture but you can often pick up decent frames (sometimes with mounts) for next to nothing.
