i really need a lens that autofocuses as i can use manual but its bugging me

70-200mm ive seen some on ebay for £150 - is that about the right price to pay?

hass to autofocus on the nikon d60 though??

im selling my 70-300mm as i don need a lens that big and it dosent autofocus on my cam

if thats the final price for any of the Nikon 70-200 variants I'd leave well alone as its probably falling in the too good to be true type of con. Expect £1,000 + for one of these.

If its the 50-200 then it will autofocus on your d60, and thats in the right ball park

The 55-200 VR is the one to go for, ideal for the D60 and as Hugh says right in that ballpark pricewise

ok - is that around the price i was thinking?? autofocus on the d60?

i just need a zoom lens to now shoot outdoors and indoors for dogs/horses and kids ! lol

if you can reccomend anything under £200 then id mega appreciate it

The Nikon 55-200 VR AF-s will AF on your D60 and is around £220 new, so should be well under £200 2nd hand. The VR will stop (or at least reduce) camera shake but in low light, subject movement (especially with kids and animals) is going to be more of a problem. To get faster shutter speeds (to reduce subject movement), you'll need a faster lens but any of the 70-200 f/2.8 lenses are going to be well over your £200 budget, I'm afraid, even 2nd hand.

im saving up but also want the f/1.4 thats £300 new but i may wai tlonger and get the longer lens.

any other suggestions would be great if anyone can think of any
