Biggest thing I miss coming from a 40D was the little joystick which was set to select AF point, I have finally found a setting which lets you assign the the joypad to do just that without having to press anything else first ie front or rear AF select button.
Q button/custom controls/multi controller..........which is at the bottom on the right, set to on and the joypad works just as the joystick did
