OK been looking for one of these (72mm thread 10 stop ND).... rarer than rocking horse poo.........

However, I have found a few 77mm ones kicking around, and thought of a 72 to 77mm stepping ring..........

Now as stepping up, I am assuming will be no detrimental effect to the image - vignetting etc.............

Am I correct?
 
You won't be able to use a standard lens hood, ortherwise probably no problems.

Can you tell me where you've spotted a 77mm 10-stop ND in stock, and how much?

You're both welcome. Mind you Richard I read the thread in Shopping Bargains etc. about Fotosense's website and wondered if I had jumped the "gun" a bit, glad it all worked out OK though.
