77mm Filter thread fisheye/wide-angle adaptors

I've got 4 lenses, all of which are 77mm Filter threads, and even at 24mm on a full-frame body I still find myself needing a wider angle every so often.
Can you buy a wide angle lens adaptor to fit a 77mm filter thread (I want something cheap as i'm on a tight budget and won't use it all that much).
Anyone had experience with these sort of lenses?

Buy a wider lens. A Sigma 12-24 will get you as wide as possible with very little distortion (exaggerated perspective in spades but very little distortion!) and an 8mm will get you full 180° coverage (on FF) with the usual fisheye distortions.

What about taking two or more pictures and "stitching" them together? I uses Adobe Elements 11 which does and excellent job and lines up everything perfectly. You need about a third overlap with each shot so any variations in light blends in.

Just a quick example, I didn't really bother to much apart from demo purposes. This is two/three shots spanning 90 ft from about 5 ft away at the nearest point. obviously if I had been further back etc, but it does give an indication of light blending and what you are trying to achieve by stitching. yes i could have pulled the pano back a bit to take away the pin cushion effect but not bothered as was taken for my own satisfaction to see the result


Using this method for landscapes etc would i think be ideal for what you are after

Hey guys! Sorry for the slow reply. Thanks for the responses. That's a great option that I'd not really considered much until now.
I use Lightroom 5 (which doesn't do Pano) and don't have photoshot or elements. I've got Hugin but found it very hit & miss.
Maybe it's time to upgrade to creative cloud?

Thanks! I'll give that one a try. Just found it on Google. I could ideally do with a Mac compatible one though :/
