7D as back up to 1DMkIV

I know that this has probably been covered in other threads. I really need a back up camera. My main interest at the moment is wildlife so thinking that a 7D would be possibly the best bet.

I know that its not a better camera than my MkIV but would like to hear the views of owners regarding noise at higher ISO (1600- 3200), focusing ability on BIF, etc

Although I don't shoot wildlife, I shoot concerts which is fast moving action at high ISO. I hate the 7D for the purpose. It's decent in a small venue when I can use fill flash and use the AF assist lamp, but otherwise I prefer to use my 6D. I'm sure some wildlife shooters can offer more specific advice. I will say, in good light, the 7D is great.
