7D Falsh Problem.

For some reason my 7D has stopped firing it's flash. I usually shoot with a mounted 430ex2 or pop the internal and fire the 430 wirelessly. I can't change the menu for off camera as it believes there is a camera mounted at all times which also prevents popping the built in flash.

Anyone here experienced anything similar or have any ideas to try and fix this ?

Heard of this before its the little button under the flash plate slider probably catching, 2 tix Ill see if I can find the thread for you

Micro-switch plunger is under the right flash rail. Right here... Be Very Gentle and try moving it, or try sliding the flash in and out see if that frees it Thread Image from Photo.net:
