7d firmware problem help!

Loaded new firmware yesterday....used camera at event today and it started to freeze on me. The only way I could get it to unfreeze was to remove battery. Worked ok after put battery back in for a while and would then freeze again.

Camera worked perfectly before update.

Has anyone any suggestions?

Err, this doesn't sound good!

Upgraded mine the other day but not actually used it in anger yet.

Just been reading and seems it might be auto power off related

Try disabling that function and see if it helps.

Maybe...I will try. Did not have this problem before update though so concerning.

So it seems others are having problems with the camera freezing after updating the Firmware...

Interesting read, thanks for that.

Definitely seems to be APO related so I'd recommend disabling this.
