Actually had a go of one at PC World/Currys Last Saturday, surprised they had one as WEX are still showing Pre order.

Mind you I think it could have been £100 dearer.

WEX just ran out of their initial order....

Most of us got them over a week ago from the various pre orders before launch...

Got mine from stock at WEX last friday. You just need to keep an eye on their site. On the Wed they had none on the friday they did.

Had not kept up with News about 7D Mk II so did not realise people already had there's.

Not to bothered about the new camera as I will be keep hold of my 5D MkIII till version IV arrives.

I got used to the size with the 7d and 5d3.

I like the feel in my hand, very comfortable.

This was in a display cabinet so didn't get to handle it. I'm used to the more compact equivalent Nikons.

The d7000 is smaller than the 7d/mk2 imo.

Not really, it's bigger but I wouldn't call it 'absolutely enormous' in comparison

It's 1.4 cm wider and a 0.7 cm taller!

Which, IMO is ideal.

That's cheaper than DigitalRev, but not as cheap as Panamoz.

Had a play with one a couple of weeks ago. Going from a 1D4 I found it tiny but I guess it's all relative.

I've always added a grip to smaller bodies but when I want it smaller - I'd say it's just about right size wise for me.

It's enormous for someone with hands 'just the right size' for the 100d.
