7D Question?

Hi all, can anyone tell me how to display the Histogram? on the 7D, also is it possible to have the display in the viewfinder as you take a pic? I have looked in the users instructions and there is no info on the Histogram. Thanks in advance. Tony.

If I understand right, you want the histogram in the viewfinder? I don't think it's possible due to the fact the 7D has an optical viewfinder and shows the actual scene you are photographing. It isn't an electronic screen that can overlay displays like an EVF.

In live view (on the rear LCD) press INFO to bring up a histogram.

I am sure Dave is right you cannot display the histogram in the viewfinder when taking photos. It can only be displayed on playback.

Cheers for that Dave never thought of looking at live view for Histogram. still getting used to the camera only had it three weeks. Thanks guys, Tony.
