7D timer multi shoot?

Is there any way to get the 7d to take multiple photos when set to timer function?

I can do it on my ixus50 and G12, it's a usefull feature on these cameras taking up to 10 pictures in succession, and helpful especially when doing self portrait work.

no you have to buy a plug in timer that fires the camera. theyre not too expensive, lots available on ebay.
