80 * 50 cm Canvas Print

Your dimensions aren't that far off, I'm sure some one with more experience than me will come along shortly.

I've had 3 so far from them and for my first canvases they are good for the money....just need to allow extra room when composing for the edges next time :bonk:

If I am reading your question correctly (apologies if not then please disregard) but I think that will work. you want an 80x50 cm print, the jpeg dimensions are 4288x2680. It is about the aspect ratio, 80x50 = 8:5, 4288x2680 also = 8:5 ratio. So the aspect ratio is equivalent, therefore if the canvas print company do a print in that size then it will work. Just transfer that ratio simply into inches to get the size, ie 8x5 = 16x10 = 24x15 and so on. I hope this helps, as this has been my interpretation of your question. Iain

On second thoughts, disregard what I said above, just had a look at the link posted above and the aspect ratios dont correspond to your size of print, sorry :D
 
At 300ppi the size should be 9449 x 5906 pixels so you're a bit short for an ideal print.

The 4288 x 2680 you have quoted works out about 136ppi.

Have you tried sizing your image at 300ppi?

4288*2680 which is a ratio of 1.6

pixel density per inchecs will be 138dpi as mentioned
but this is a canvas print?
all looks okay to me
300dpi is fine for some photos but you have to look very closely to see that level of detail
6x4's for example, no-one looks at A3's that close up do they?

with a canvas....it's not exactly a mirror smooth surface
for myself (and a few others when googling) 100dpi is fine for canvas. maybe 150dpi or 180dpi would be better but when hung on your wall you won't notice.
as also mentioned, just remember there is some wastage on the edges
