95mm Hoya HD Digital filter

I've got a couple of Hoya HD Digital CPL filters and am now looking for a 95mm version. Googling hasn't turned one up and Hoya's site gives the impression they don't do one. Is that right? If it is, is there a recommended alternative?

Marumi or Heliopan perhaps? It won't be cheap :rules:

That's for 50-500? It may just slow everything down too much. Perhaps try £18 ebay version first
 
I've got a B+W 95mm CPL and it seems to be up to the job....they're not cheap at that size though.

It is, and it may, but I'm going back to Antarctica and the Galapagos Islands so there's going to be a lot of bright sky and sea that would help, and which I want to get the best out of.
 
So...
B+W: £225
Marumi: £100
Heliopan: £235
Sigma: £138

Anyone care to recommend one above the others? Would I notice any significant difference between the Marumi and the rest? It's on Amazon but despatched by Microglobe and I've never heard of them.

Marumi Super DHG is excellent. Slim mount, very good coating and it doesn't mark with dried-on water droplets. Similar to B+W MRC and Hoya HD coatings in that respect.
 
Thanks. Is the 'super' version much different from the 'standard' (DHG95SCIR v DHG95CIR)? There's a £30 difference...

Mount and coatings. Well worth the extra IMHO, especially considering the price of the others. It's top grade :thumbs:
 
Hitech's are £125 on their site.
On ebay there's a Hasselblad one being asked £75 for.
That Sigma, is £115 on fotosense.

If you're not averse to importing and lesser thought if brand names, you've Opteka and Vivitar on ebay.com for under $30.
Aside from not being as slim as some of those already mentioned, I'd argue the cost difference is reflective of all that much more than branding.

It's arrived today but I'm a little concerned. The containing circular plastic holder doesn't say Marumi anywhere and the accompanying leaflet has some broken English: 'our original development has succeeded in striking improve ment in both lower reflection and coating's fortitude' for example (improvement split into improve and ment, inappropriate use of fortitude).

Has anyone else seen this, or do I have a fake on my hands?
