A bee and a fly

There were a few bugs sunnijng themselves today. One was an unusual furry looking fly that I've not seen before, but as I was lining up my shot my wife came out asking if I had the car keys and it flew away.

Anyway, here are a couple of other critters.

I did get a shot of it before if flew away. It's not the best pic but I might post it later.

I don't have a side shot of the bee sadly. It departed after three head-on shots sadly.

Looking at your link, the other beastie was almost certainly a beefly.

I've seen worse photos. Deff a beefly.
I'll start to see hundreds of them from next week when I'm out and about.
