Beginner A beginners first proper adventure, and when are you no longer a beginner?

This morning I went out to take some photographs, I usually go to the shore and as its so close to home it is great for experimenting and trial and error.
Not today I decided to have a very small adventure, so I drove inland a short way, when I found a spot that was interesting, I decided to stop the car and go and investigate.
It was a small stream with an old stone bridge, I thought it would be good for wildlife and flowers etc.
So as I was reversing the car in to a space at the end of a disused track, out of the corner of my eye I saw the roof of an abandoned house.
So I changed my mind about the stream and went to the house.
Here is the first photograph I took, what a find.
Looks to me this was used by people who were quite artistic.
The face on the farm.

There is a bit of potential there IMO
The RHS is a bit bland
It would be pleasing to see more of the window on the left considering the theme that "the eyes are a window to the soul." as they are brightest in the scene.
If there are three things hanging down from the dilapidated window (the small square shaped things at the top) then you really have struck gold,

Perhaps the artist saw it? Or perhaps it isnt there and your three things there are the closest representation there was. More could be made of the tear drops in black dripping paint and the symbolism of the ruined building and the dejected face, perhaps moving camera slightly to the left would place those with more prominence and have the added benefit of reducing the brickwork

Is there more there than the picture of the face?

Good find no matter what. I enjoyed looking at it for sure.
