Sure why not...just hope and pray there's not 5 goals in the first ten minutes.

Why not make it the photography club that covers the games, and then work a rota out from the interested members!? Seems quite egalitarian and fair.

Also, do you have kit that could cope with shooting football? The last thing I'd want to see happen is that the photo club gets a crappy rep from the football club because people are producing awful shots.

Take a look at my two tutorials if you do decide to do it (ugh. that makes me feel like a motivational speaker everytime I say it... :gag: )

if your all they ahve (meant in a nice way as in time stuff) then go for it.. some pics are betetr than none..

A family run business is far more flexible than otherwise!

i really would like to do it aswell but family run buisness makes it hard to re organize life

Before I went full-time I came upon this problem all the time. I nice chat with the boss usually is enough. Explain the situation and see what happens.

My concern with your kit though is the lack of anything longer than 200mm. Unless you add a converter onto that to give you 98-280mm?!

been or should i say thinking of looking into a bigger lens but i jsut dont warrant it in the current situation if how ever i did do this and i was the only one to do it then i would certainley think / buy a bigger lens to go with

im think im going to drop memebers a email asking who is intrested and then going to email him once i can confirm people to attend etc

The 1.4x converter is a cheap way of adding some length...£230 ish and you've got an extra 80mm.

Not bad for starters.
