4 again for me. y, yyy, a new starter gave me the other 2ys so it was a straight anagram and I could only think of one possibility.
 
Four today, I had a green and two yellow on my second guess :)
 
5 today, 1 reuse of yellow letter :(.

5 for me. A decent start with 2gs was OK, especially when the next guess got me another g. However, they were the last 3 letters so there are a fair few options left!!! 2 more wrongs finally left me with a right!

There was a claim yeah :D

Somene on my FB contacts claimed they got 'BLOKE' in one .. I highly doubt such a word springs to mind , ever, as a first guess in one of these puzzles

It has to be a word that’s in the list of solutions of course not just an acceptable word. If you use a word that has come up, like “bloke”, at least you are in with a chance. ㋡

The (now) usual 4 for me. At least it was a gradual improvement, turn on turn!
