Now excuse me, I really need a shower
I’ve found the hardest part is resisting the urge to reuse the same “safe” starter word every day. A couple of times it worked brilliantly and I got it in 3, so now I’m probably superstitious about it. Funny how such a simple idea becomes oddly addictive though. You tell yourself it’s just five minutes, then suddenly you’re mentally rearranging letters while making tea or driving to work. I also like that everyone gets the same word each day, so there’s a bit of shared suffering when a particularly awkward one appears with double letters or unusual endings. Definitely better as a once-a-day thing though — if unlimited games existed I’d probably waste far too much time on it.
