A bit of praise for Medion

I bought a new laptop from Aldi on 9th August 07 and it has been running really slowly for a wee while, sometimes charging and sometimes not and also has been getting really hot underneath. I thought it had a 1 year warranty and wasn't really bothered too much as i had over 2 good years out of it and it didn't exactly cost the earth. I looked at Aldi's website yesterday to see what they had coming instore and noticed that they had 3 year warranty's so i called Medion and explained and they are sending me a new charger straight away plus they are arranging for my laptop to be taken away and either fully repaired or replaced.

I think this is fantastic service and if they do what they have said they will i will be a customer for life.

I'm always wary about buying expensive technology from the like of Aldi but this helps their reputation a lot.

I purchased a Medion PC from Aldi up Bridgewater way quite a few years ago and it has served me really well. I had cause to contact Medion on a couple of occasions and they were always extremely helpful and the problem was resolved quickly. I would definitely purchase a Medion again.

We have 4 computers, 2 are high-end and 2 are Medion.
The Medions are 4 and 5 years old and have been used constantly throughout.
They have never had any part replaced due to failure, just had upgrades to the graphics. Both still have the original hard drives.
Can't comment on Medions customer service, never needed em!

All Aldi electrical goods have 3 year warranties...

Normally either makes MEDION or TEVION...

A friend has had his laptop repaired about 5 times over 3 years with no problems.. picked up from home and returned when repaired...
