Advise please, my partner has poor mobility and cant stand up straight. She currently uses a Canon A640, ideal with the 'flippy-flappy' screen, she looks down at the screen with the camera on a mono-pod, at about waist height.
Problem, the lens suffers from lack of zoom, so rather than walk closer, which can be a problem, she take a shot, a bit 'snapshoty':|
So I thought, simples, Bridge, Super zoom, VR and a flappy screen . . .
Problem, tracking that lot in one package seems to be a problem. DSLR . . . a 'no, no' . . . to heavy and unwieldy with a super zoom, I have just traded my heavy Nikon kit, for something lighter, still DSLR, back to basics, when one gets older it starts to tell . . .
Back operation in the next few weeks, then its 'no pain?', but still wont be able to stand up straight, the mobility will be better . . . we hope?
So a new 'Bridge camera/super zoom/VR' would be nice for Hazel for the summer, any suggestions . . . ?
