I finally had some time to go out and have a play with my Big stopper.

This is the view towards Isle of Arran. I couldn't decide which version I liked the best so I will post them both.

Both look great, more detail on the mono it seems, maybe just my screen.
Colour is my face though.

The mono has had a bit of a contrast boost around the mountains of Arran.
 
Well it looks like the colour is the preferred choice. I must admit I liked the colour the best too. The only thing is that it didnt look as hazy as this when I was there, maybe I should have put the polariser on too:thinking:
 
i prefer colour as well.. the stone and that fog around it looks amazing :)

Hello Robert and i must say nice location you have their, colour one for me however not sure about the mist/fog etc, when viewing I think I would much prefer a sunrise/sunset for this one.

This is my usual sunset location being only 15 minutes from my house. I only went here yesterday to wipe the dust from my camera.

The mist is a result of the long exposure on the waves and are a bit marmite.
 
Smashing pictures, definitely 1 for me. Number 2 seems a little over done.
