Hi All

Late afternoon walk to get the softer evening'ish glow.

#1 Coot with food

#2 Last years cygnet in flight ~ we saw 4 of them and this was the best I could manage of them in flight, a very big crop and too much noise in the sky

#3 Great Crested Grebe

Love 3. The warm rust colour of the water is a great backdrop and really complements the similar colour on the bird and contrasts beautifully with the blue. Great shot.

Just a couple more

#4 Cygnet again ~ I really like the feathers but not that great a shot as needed a major crop!

#5 Coot making way [Seem to have lost soe fine detail possibly due to JPEG compression?]

Edit ~ hmmmm! I overcooked the sharpening on this one halo artifacts.....will have to rework it later?

I keep going back over the Grebe ones............thinks???
