think they are lovely Derek, if anything I would have probably left a bit more room at the top of the first two only a bit though and some more room in front of the last, thats just my opinion others may differ

I think you've cropped in too tight as a bit of detail has been lost and a fair bit of noise is showing through. Some times less is more

Good clear shots of both birds showing their colouring when they are not in eclipse. I favour the teal for composition as it sits well on the water!

The widgeon is not showing the yellow colouring on the top of his head that usually is more prominent.
