A couple from the bramble patch

Dogs and cameras don't make a good mix, but took both out for walkies this evening - so a bumble and mystery bug from the bramble patch.

Would really appreciate an ID on the big bug.

Nice shots.

Looking through my newly acquired insect ID book, I think it's a Rose Chafer - Cetonia aurata.

Happy to be corrected if wrong though.
