A couple from this (dewy) Morning

Reminds me of an old cheap DIY microscope trick: carefully hammer a hole in a copper coin with a fat steel gramophone needle by knocking it through a slice of a bottle cork first, leaving a chamfered smooth sided hole in the coin; place a drop of water in the hole; that's now, for a while, an excellent microscope objective lens :)

Ha, I think I remember doing something along those lines at school in the 80s. I guess school budgets weren't what they are now :)
 
Thanks, I'm pretty happy with them. It was a pretty uneventful morning out otherwise so glad to have come back with a couple of keepers :)
