A couple more from yesterday. My mate is obviously a little shy I couldn't find it today

Number one ! i have never found one of these.

Like the colours and composition in the second one, but both well focused and clear - had one of these in the garden a couple of years ago stayed around for a few weeks.

Very nice. Well composed and very clear shots.

The sort of macro I aspire to.

It's a shame it disappeared.
I've read that some crab spiders can change colour, but only between yellow and white. I guess purple just wasn't a winner for it.

Apparently, they sit like pic #1 on stems pretending to be flowers, if there's none available to hide in, and catch things that way.
