Shots taken on holiday, not sure what the 2nd one is but it would appear to be some kind of bramble? I just liked the look of the fan shaped spikes against the white background on the first shot and second shot was taken in boredom early one morning outside the apartment, but for some reason or other I quite like it too.

I agree first one would look much nicer with a lighter background.
