Critique A Dead Lily

Here is a shot of a flower that my wife loves to havfe in the house a Lily. I hate them as I really dislike the scent so when they look like this I am happy so I took a shot of one.

I bet you don't love them like that when they drop their powder on the carpet though. Also not a fan of the smell but we seem to have them in our house on a regular basis. I like the photo in that you have to look twice to see what it actually is and therefore has more interest than a colourful one in full bloom.
