One way of safely viewing a solar eclipse is with a "pinhole projector." I had made one from a piece of cardboard and was projecting it on my front walk when I realized our Pin Oak had made a whole bunch of them. I don't think it's a particularly great image, but I do think it's interesting.

Heh. I really like it as a part-abstract. The holly(?) leaf is what turns it into something special. Nice eye.

Thanks! That's a small clipping from the Pin Oak creating the pattern. I took the time to clean off the walk of odd stuff and placed the leaves there...I think it would have been better if I had placed it a bit more in the empty corner. Maybe next time ;).
