A Dull Day Turns For The Better.

I had a rare free day last Thursday so planned a nice long walk around the area where I live.
Unfortunately it was the dullest day for a while so I set off around 2pm thinking b&w or maybe a HDR or two!

Anyway the results........................

1. Arnside Tower Panoramic - 6 stitched shots - I'm definitely going to return to repeat this in some nice light for a colour version.





2. A 5 shot HDR - I've done 1 HDR before so this is a rarity for me!



3. Suddenly the light started changing for the better.



4. And one of the last shots of the day before returning home knackered!



I probably covered about 10 miles over 5 and a bit hours taking 50+ photos with 3 or 4 keepers! Canon 400D, Sigma 10-20mm or Tamron 17-50mm.
 
#4 is a beauty. It's got a bit of everything for me.Great light, an interesting sky and the tree frames the scene very nicely.Lovely(y)
 
Superb set mate.... Not one I didn't like, and thats a rarity cause I'm a critical git. No 2 and 4 are composed very well and you've nailed the HDR on 2, perfect balance. Well taken...
 
Yep, nice set with No 4 my personal fave. Where was it by the way?

No 4 for me the tree frames it and leads you to the pier
and the nice sun reflection from the water gives it a warm glow
