A fair trade?

I've also posted this in price check section of the forum, but guess more people might be able to offer opinions here.
Would my Canon 1d3 + Canon100-400mm L lens be a fair swap for a Canon 5D mk3 body only?? Obviously condition like for like (excellent).
Thoughts??

I'd say that is, give or take £100, almost bang on fair trade.

There is a mint 5d3 up in the classifieds for ~1850
Mint 1d3 sell for about 1k and 100-400mm sell for about £850...

Judging by the classified prices and ebay prices I'd say that's about as fair as you could get money wise. TBH though, I think you'd be lucky to get a trade, as good as the 1D3 is, it's getting a bit long in the tooth and feature wise isn't a patch on the 5D3.

Yeah, i think i will probably put them up for sale separately, then buy a new 5d3.
Still think the 1d3 has the slight edge on af speed though. Also 10fps. Great for action.
