No2 for me, just a shame that the sky is just so grey. But as you say the weather isn't always on your side. I think I'll try this at Bournemouth airport on a brighter day.

No. 2 is quite good. Is that just at touchdown? If so its a pretty well timed shot.

Nice sharp shots Colin. Did you take these from the Ikea multi-storey car park and if so had you any problems? Weather a bit like Newcastle last weekend! Were you there for the typhoon? merv

Thanks Merv. I was over at the bus turning circle at IKEA for these. Yea, managed to get up to Newcastle, seen the Typhoon but not many photos of it due to it's distant display line.

Heres one of the typhoon taken through rather misty conditions with a 300 lens with 2x converter PLUS a bit of processing to get rid of some of the fug. Maybe Portrush will be better

Very nice Merv, you've done well all things considered. Yes, lets hope Portrush will be better, though I'm always caught short with my 70-200mm up there.
