Hi guys, visited a re-enactment event last weekend, weather was terrible, but managed to take a few candid portrait type shots, not my usual thing, but I'm quite pleased with them.

Really like them. No 2 and 3 stand out for me.
No 2 - the guy in the shot just looks so pensive standing in the rain
No 3 - I want to know what they are both looking at and what the woman is deep in thought about

I really like them too, and similar to duckydoodle, #2 and #3 are the best for me. I'm a sucker for these sort of shots and I love the ones where the scene could be straight from history - #2 and #3 definitely fit into this category.

thanks for the feedback Duckydoodle, the rain really was hammering down I think alot of the people there were wondering just why they were there instead of being indoors in the dry !, as for the woman in the last one, both her and the dog were watching another dog !

#1 looks a little "staged" but the others could be straight out of history

Really like the 3rd shot,some dodge & burning on the smoke and the dogs fur would really bring out the contrast.WELL DONE!
