I have a couple of days off to play so got out in the garden and took a few shots of the insects that were out, not many at all.

Loving these Alby, especially 1 and 4. What are they? The hairs at the front are really nicey captured.

They are male mosquitoes and they use those feathery appendages to listen out for females, bizarre but true thanks for looking.

Dave all the insects seem to be smaller, and springtails are the main critters about although on warmer day you might see the odd hoverfly. Damn summer has been like winter this year anyway
