A few dragons................

Hi everyone, I'm new here and have only been taking pictures for 2 months so please go easy on me.

I shot these the other day and as they are nearly out of season I thought I would share them with you.

All four taken on my E-510 with the 40-150mm kit lens.

Great start & welcome to the forum.

I think the DOF is a little shallow on #3 you seem to have lost a bit of focus on the back end,
but a good image all the same.
That last one is pretty damned good

Is this one OK? I do try different f Numbers.

Hmm the EXIF on both of them says f/4.5
shutter speed
1/500 for the last
1/640 for the first so I am not sure why the second is a bit sharper maybe you "just missed" the tail end?
But as I said still a good image
edit Ah I see the focus is on the log in the first and more on the D/F in the second
