I've never really been into landscapes, but had never considered shooting seascapes before, so I thought I'd pop out yesterday and make good use of the nice weather.

If someone could point me towards some well known seascape photographers, I'd be very greatful. I want to do some research and give it another shot.

I don't think the sea was doing anything interesting enough for shots 2 and 3, there is no life in them at all. 1 is too dark but I like the composition. 4 makes me feel vertiginous but is nice! ;)

Agree totally with above 1 nice idea, would have needed a grad or muliple exposure. 1 and 3 I see what you were trying but neither the sea or the sky is particularly intresting.

I like the idea of the fourth, good textures and nice colours and a very intresting composition. Dont really like the exteme DOF however.

2 local photographers in my area, my mum actually works in the second ones studio. Both really good at seascapes especially McInroy, really inspiring stuff.
